Why do we blog?
Do you believe in fate? or in coincidence? Yesterday, I started a blog and not 30 mins later I came across this line in a book I was reading:
"People who are busy and happy don't write diaries; they are too busy living."
That was in the novel - Friday
by Robert A. Heinlein. (Love this novel by the way)
I guess the same saying goes for blogs. So does having a blog mean that mean that I'm jobless and sad? Maybe for the former, but definately not the latter.
To be frank I know why I'm blogging. I want to make my voice heard. What about you? Why do you blog?

Blogging is a job!! I blog in order to share and exchange knowledge and opinions with people I'd never have got to know otherwise. But I've never really thought about why. The web is just an extension of the activities in the off-line world.
well done for setting up your blog!! For me, blogging is a past-time, as well as all you said: making my voice heard...
I have always kept a diary, and led a fulfilling life also, so I have to disagree with that quote there...I must have, what, fourteen volumes now (1988-present day)

I disagree as well...no matter how little of a life I may have! Some want to illustrate memories they've created, some want to let out their feelings/thoughts/beliefs/opinions in a safe forum, some do it pass the time, and others just for the comments. Me? I just love to write (oh yeah, and I do it for all the reasons above, too!). :)
I blog so that I can come across people like you...hear stories like yours...and be able to set fire to sleeping minds. My passions need an expression I guess...that's why I blog.
but most of all I blog to find myself....and my destiny!!
